The Schutt O2 Maxx Skill Shoulder Pads offer a high level of protection through the use of two types of padding and a unique arch cut. Recommended for running backs, tight ends and defensive backs, these shoulder pads have the deepest arch cut Schutt makes. That means players will have a wide range of motion without sacrificing protection. The arch is streamlined and balanced to both cut down on weight and provide plenty of coverage. The removable and adjustable clavicle channel system allows you to fit the pads around your AC joint through hook and loop padding. The shoulder pads include Air Maxx TPU cushioning over the shoulders for the same kind of protection Schutt uses in it’s helmets. The pads also encorporate Energy Lock Technology, a soft, flexible foam that tenses up to absorb impact from heavy hits.
